New Year is a special holiday in any child's life. It is magical time when fairy tales come true: Father Frost secretly comes and leaves presents under the brightly decorated Christmas tree, it is time when garlands and candles are lit and wishes are made. A course of children's activities New Year Workshop will help young museum visitors to prepare for the upcoming holiday – to make Christmas decorations with their own hands, as well as gifts for parents and friends.
At the second session, children will make New Year candleholders in the shape of snowed up houses. Young visitors will be able to realise in the items their ideas of Father Frost’s dwelling, a fairy-tale forest hut or a gingerbread house. The finished work can be used as a home decoration or a holiday gift! MASP’s specialist will help children to pack nicely their candleholders so that they can take the rightful place under Christmas tree.
Recommended for children aged 6–12.
All materials for the workshop are provided by the museum.
